Essential Wine Co. turned off the Open sign for the last time on Saturday, July 31, 2010.  We would like to thank our Patrons, Past & Present Staff, the Musicians that performed in the Essential Music Lounge, the Winemakers & Wine Reps that poured at Tasty Tuesdays, the Friends of EWCo. that hosted a range of events in support of our establishment, and most of all my eternal gratitude to the “Essential Girlfriend” Danielle for her unwavering support despite a stubborn Proprietor always trying to do it his way.

P.S.  A parting thought since I no longer have the weekly bully pulpit via our Newsletter.  Life is too short to settle for choking down pedestrian wine merely because it’s a bargain.  You all work too hard and deserve a bottle that will remind you why you enjoy wine in the first place. Nuf sed.
